Galloway used to sell a tool steel firing pin for the BG but I don't think it was dimensionally any different than the stock pin. I don't see them for sale on their site any longer though. I haven't found any other places that sell an aftermarket pin other than that one.
 
Do your firing pins appear to have full travel, without grit or grunch? If you 'plonk' you ammunition, does it sit below flush? What sort of ammunition are you using? No hard primer imported stuff? What convinces you that the firing pins are short?
You're doubtless aware that Smith has stopped making the 1.0, but I'd still be in touch. I have two, all set up with good sights, just in time for the 2.0 to arrive. I had one other that had feed troubles, but the current ones run perfectly.
