Can someone confirm all of the pics I am seeing online of the BG 2 tritium front sight are in orange. The one I have is in green? Is there a change update or SN, variant why mine is green and others orange? Purchased new in box from retailer.

Well.... it appears S&W got a clue about the difference between orange and green and the human vision.
"The photoreceptor cells in the eye responsible for color vision, called cones, are most sensitive to green wavelengths."
"The "best" color for tritium is generally considered to be green because the human eye perceives green as the brightest color in low-light conditions, making it the most visible option when using tritium for night sights or other applications where illumination is needed in darkness."

Tritium is a colorless, odorless gas. A phosphorescence is used to make the light in the sight visible. Amount of phosphor used in that front sight would be practically insignificant.
Your smarter peeps may not have Googled enough.
