357mag load

I have been shooting WC 820, a surplus powder in magnum cartridges for a couple of decades. Good stuff, especially at less than $8 a lb in 2003.

I recently scored a 4# bottle of Power Pistol from Grafs . After shipping , haz mat and sales tax it averaged out over $70 / lb . Using a clone of the Lyman 258156 (plane base version) I use either 14 or 14.5 grs of 2400 , I also enjoy 16.0 grs of H-110 under same bullet . biku324 recipe for lil gun definitely has my interest . That will be my nest purchase . Regards Paul

You'll hear all kinds of internet nonsense about how Lil Gun will destroy your firearm - that comes from a decades-old warning from one manufacturer using heavy-bullet, very large compressed loads in 454 Casull and 475 Linebaugh. I've used Lil Gun in 357 revolvers and carbines since 2008 with no firearm damage of any kind. It's also my heavy bullet 41 magnum go-to powder.

What you get is great accuracy at modest pressure.
