Here is a near mint 45 cal. 1917 and a well traveled 455 cal. From the first war. I like great condition pistols but sometimes they don't always come that way. So I think I will share one of each.I believe that the ww1 is Canadian proof marked. Thanks for looking . Larry

The broad arrows, point to point indicate "sold out of store" to an officer. Quoting Pate: Officers were required to provide their own handguns until WW II. The additional arrow, nose to nose, shows the arm was officially released and was no longer government property.

That 1917 is killer!!

That just might be the cleanest Model of 1917 I've ever seen, but that .455 is far from the worst I've seen.
