I just bought a Ruger LCP and its an excellent "just in case" gun.....but now I'm looking at a BG .380. Can I actually shoot the darn thing?

People talk about 3,000 rounds being a high round count for an LCP, I hope the BG isn't the same....

Mine appears to be a very well constructed and robust firearm. I fully expect it will go well beyond 3,000 rounds without issues, more like 5-10,000 rounds.

I've put 400+ rounds through it so far and it still looks and operates like brand new.

I have both and prefer the Bodyguard for my EDC.I changed out the trigger bar and trigger to reduce the pull on the Bodyguard and am much more accurate with it than the LCP.I did change the trigger on the LCP as it had a nasty pinch.I pocket carry and the BG is a bit heavier than the LCP but still prefer the BG.I am picking up a Kahr CM9 next as I would like a lighter 9mm to pocket carry in the winter months.I also carry a S&W 9mm Shield.I probably have 500 rounds through both 380's so I can't address the round count question.I don't really shoot them much at the range as the 9mm are much more fun to shoot and the 380 ammo is more expensive.
