Found this little gem humpback recently at a local gun show. Guy walking around with it tucked in his waist band. Said he's selling it for a friend. Made an offer and offer accepted.

First, it is nickel plated?
Second, did you look real close at the frame where the barrel is for any crack?
Just saying, as I got bit on one that had a crack that I did not notice when I got it.....

Yep it's Nickel. And Yep I checked the frame under the forcing cone for a crack, its good to go. The guy thought I was a little too anal. Ha!

Very nice.......I carried a stainless one in my pocket for my 25 years in uniform with the MSP. It never looked nearly as nice as yours.

But seriously, many folks think that the Bodygaurd style is the perfect pocket revolver.

To S&W's credit, I returned a well used Model 38 with a cracked frame last summer. A Rep called me a week later to ask what model I would like as a replacement. I received a brand new Model 638 a month later. I am happy.

^^^^what he said! That's amazing! A lot better than the buyback programs sponsored by 'progressive' communities to remove guns from the streets... and from us shooters.
