Bolt Catch Part

Hey guys, new member here and have a question for yall.

I recently broke the bolt catch release button on the left side of the receiver. I am hoping to be able to find somewhere to just order the part and replace it myself, but am not having much luck in doing so. I talked to S&W and they just automatically said I should mail it to them and they will fix it under warranty, but that it may take a couple weeks. Well I was hoping to not have to do this since the gun is still operable due to the ambi-bolt release and the fact that I can fix it myself.

Any suggestions, ideas, comments, etc??

Call S&W back and pressure them (kindly) to send you the replacement part.

You're best off making the warranty claim. If these ambidextrous bolt catches were sitting on a retail shelf some place, they'd probably have a $125 MSRP ticket on them.
