Picked up nice looking 669 with 2 mags today on Gunsamerica for 280 Bucks. Hope it is as nice as the price. Pictures to follow.

I think that you did well. I bought my 669 (w/2 mags) six or seven years ago for $275. The older all metal Smith semi-autos are great pistols.

I agree . I love my 39-2. Been looking for a compact for a while. Pictures looked real clean

That is a good price, hope it's in as good shape as the price.
I have 2 and I think you will like it. They do tend to shoot a bit low, or mine do.

Sorry to hear that, well at least you got another cool handgun from the 80s. 
I wanted a 469 or a 669 when they first hit the market. Never did get one. Good thing, because the magazines are now illegal in NY.

Just snagged a 469 off GB myself--$270.00 and she cleaned up nicely.

Holy smokes - you got a great deal on that 669.
(I'm not as jealous as I would ordinarily be, as I just picked up a totally new LCR .38 Special for $305 in an auction.
Poor dealer/seller said that was substantially less than his cost, and I believe it.)

at $305 for an new LCR is a smokn' deal too....my next door neighbor pocket carries an LCR .357....and I can't hit the proverbial "broadside of a barn" with
.... but he is lot younger and has got pretty proficient with it....the wifes sp-101 .357 is much easier for me to shoot with .38.....but I sure loves me some .357 magnum
