Not much to say....took the pistol to the range and it was a success. There is a little more trigger "slap" with the compact model vs. the full size M&P 9, but it's not going to be a problem.

(That is obviously caused by the lighter pistol in recoil)

This pistol handles very much like my Glock 26. I prefer the standard flat magazine base plate, and happily one of the magazines came with one.

By the way, anybody want to sell me another flat magazine base plate?

I'd be willing to trade you my flat plate for your finger extension plate if you like?

Got a 9c this week myself. Took it to the range today. Used to my 642 wheel gun, my sigma and usually carry a Kel tec P11. This thing really made me look good at the range. Being used to the long triggers of these guns the 9c trigger felt great. Shot it very accurate and am really impressed with it overall. Definetly going to become my new best friend.

I got one of the first to come out. After shooting it for awhile I sold my Glock 26. I saw one for sale in a pawn shop in Anniston,Alabama a few weeks ago. It was used and had only the flat plate mag. I noticed a box full of various mags and asked to see them. I found the finger extended mag in that box for $10.00. Now I have two. The shop owner was apparently taking any extra mags for used guns and selling them separately so he could make more money. I found a few others before I left.

If you will call S&W they have been very good at sending the base plates for the magazines for free..I got two finger extended ones.
