Bought a new M&P 9C for $285

Was at the Gander Mountain that is closing down and they had 1 M&P 9C no thumb safety left, got it for 50% off making it $264.50 + tax & background came to $285. I am super happy and I will be able to get the rebate that gives 2 box ammo, 2 mags and a reloader. Sweet, Has anyone else been by their Gander Mountain that is closing?

Where are you folks seeing the best prices on M&P compacts?

Nice deal ! That's a better price than the cheapest (total) price I've seen on-line for a SD9VE, but he got a higher-end pistol, that's more concealable. That was also a better price than I've come across in the used market.
I'd say win/win.

I love my 9C, have a shield as well. I really enjoy the compact more. Better grip, draw and just great feel in the hand. I shoot it better. Congratulations on a great deal on what my experience has been a great pistol.

Is it just me, or does it seem like M&P compact prices bounce all over the place? When I got mine, for $320, there were plenty of others in the $350-360 range, but now around 6 weeks later, it's all over $400.

That's a great deal. Love my 9c. Just last night, nearly dark, I
heard my Guinea hens raising cain out in the barn. Went to see
what the ruckus was about and it was a Bobcat trying to get into
their pen. He ran about 30 yds and stopped and turned and give
me one of those eat **** and die looks that said he was coming
back as soon as I left. Drew my 9c and drilled him in the head
with a 115 gr Critical Defense. End of problem.
My 9c is the easiest pistol I've ever shot to shoot well. I just fits.
I get a new gun and I'll try something new for awhile, but the gun
I've came back to since 2013 is my 9c. My next pistol buy is going
to be one in Dark Earth.
