Went to the range this morning intending to just shoot a few rounds.Well,a new Sigma SW9VE followed me home. When I got there I noticed a sign on the counter that read,"S&W Sigmas $259.00".How could I pass it up?This time I went thru a few of them to find the "correct" trigger. The one I chose was so smooth! I'm glad I bought the 9mm.It shoots much better then my 40; less recoil to place my shots a bit tighter.I put 100 rounds thru it without a problem. The trigger felt even better afterwards.

Congrats Ruger!

I'd buy another one tonight if I had the cash laying around!

rats, and today I bought my first S&W 9SD.....I dont know if I over paid or not but I checked the price at two places and got 20.00 better at the second so at least I did something right,...but had I seen the Sigma for 259 it would have been my third.

if they ever offer the 2 free mags again ill be all over another 9VE

I just bought by first 9mm Sigma and am really happy with the purchase. Didn't get the deal you did, but paid $329 before taxes and fees and felt I did well.

I own both the 9ve and the 40ve and have close to 3000rds thru both of them have not had a problem out of either one of them. Congrats. on the new purchase:)

I recently bought the new SD9, mainly cause it came with the Micro90 light, new trigger, but sometimes when I read these "love my Sigma" posts I kinda wish I'd saved a hundred bucks and gotten one.

How is the trigger in comparison to the Sigma? I have read different stories about it.I read it is an improved Sigma.

Don't know myself- it is advertised as a new SD trigger, like the M&P, but I never fired a sigma. Personally I really like it, much like my carry gun, SR9c. A tad long but smooth, good re-set. Fired the SD, all 16 rounds as fast as I could, 3 mags full, re-set was probably faster than me..and never let my finger leave the trigger during all 48 rounds.
