Bought my m&p40...now what?

Get an AR or a shotgun. A handgun is often referred to as the weapon of last resort. Any long gun will offer more protection in the Apocalypse. Which ever long gun you choose (or both) make sure you stock up on ammunition.;)

how do you guys purchase so many pistols so quickly. I live in nj and every pistol requires a pistol permit and they take months to get at a time..
Because we live in states that don't have draconian laws like you do.

I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist. Living in CA it's not often that I find we have better gun laws than some other states.

Ive tried leaving but the other half says she wants to be close to her family.

Is there a limit on how much ammo i can have at home? Whats the best way to store ammo? Are Promags any good? I always see the 10 rd mags going for $35+. Is that average? remember i live in Cal so my only option is the 10rd.

Is the Apex trigger that much better?

Sorry about not getting back to answer your question on the Apex trigger. The answer is a resounding yes. For me its the difference between night and day.

As for storing ammo I use Ammo cans these days. Before ammo cans ammo sat on a shelf 6 inches off of the floor.

As for mags I usually stay with S&W mags.
