Boy Scouts memorabilia

No hatchet, but have this knife, fork and spoon marked boy scout. I found these in a gun emplacement on the ocean side of Point Loma, San Diego, California in 1952.

JohnRippert...That cap is the same I wore in the '60's...Came from the Army Surplus store...
Looks like an old Case Whittler pocketknife - Still have one.
My watch fob is a Cat front loader. Lost the pocket watch somewhere.

This is all I could find in quick notice. Dad’s Boy Scout book & neckerchief. He had a bunch of other things that I probably ruined as a kid. I sure wish I could talk with him. He did say when he came “home” from the So. Pacific a lot of his stuff was gone. Stamp collection, fishing tackle, etc. was gone. Probably sold for bar money by his parents, he assumed.

There are many collectors of Scouting memorabilia, but I only keep the stuff from my scouting years. Other than unique Eagle Scout or OA items, I am not interested in collecting general Scout stuff.

Somewhere I still have all the patches from my patch jacket. Hiking trails, Camporees Jamborres ??whatever.
My Mom was kind enough to remove them all and put away for me. They are in a drawer somewhere around here. In a big box of camping gear (in the garage) I have my canteen and sheath knife, maybe some other item as well.

I had several scout knives, I gave two of them to my nephews when they were awarded Eagle Scout. My grand kids got started in Cub scouting but covid put an end to that. My daughter was a den leader but the pack dissolved so they are doing other things now.
Here is my pride and joy!!
