These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG

I'm from New England but was raised as and continue to be a Giants fan, much to my misfortune. I don't much care for Mr. Brady nor the Patriots (haven't really paid much attention to Tampa Bay), but I can't even pretend that Brady isn't the best quarterback there has ever been and it's going to be a hell of a feat for someone to take that title from him.

Brady has earned every accolade they can pile on him with more coming I'm sure. He has always been able to back up his cockiness.

Love him or hate him he puts butts in the stands and in front of the flat screens. Like waffles said...none of us will see his like in our lifetimes.

Football seems to have more than the usual number of these characters who unretire. To me it would have made more sense to retire for good after Tampa won the Super Bowl.

If I had to sit at home with kids and my wife everyday I would definitely go back to work. Retirement is over rated. I mean what do you do when your retired come home in the evening, complain about a bad day on the golf course?

I know he's good, but the NFL lost me when the kneeling started. Sad, I love football but I love America more.

Very few knelt and for everyone who commits a crime several give a lot of time and money to charities. I try to focus on the good ones not the bad.

JJ Watts has helped raise 10s of millions for various causes.

Once again the news focus is on the bad and not the good

As far as guys who retire and go back. You got to be a bit of an adrenaline junky to play the game. That, the roar of the crowds and all would be hard to walk away from if you knew you didn't have to. How many of you who played ball would like to be able to do "one more season"? Brady knew the door was open and he just couldn't keep from going through it.

as a life long Patriots fan ( now living in florida and Buc's fan) my prayers of great QB were answered when drew Bledsoe took a vicious hit from JETS mo lewis.
I'll give Bledsoe his due but the guy could not win the big games.
