Brand New 460 ES Shooting Way Low and Left.

Why so many refuse to set their sights off a sand bag or rest.

There is one reason. The big magnums like the .454, .460 and .500 will rip a sandbag to shreds with the blast coming out from the barrel/cylinder gap. Your rest had better be one that can tolerate the blast abuse. Don

Aim 6" to the right and a foot high-should solve the problem.

Maybe so DonD, but only a handful of people are doubting the accuracy of these large magnums, it usually the regular weapons commented on here. I don't think bag shredding would be a problem for most. But I constantly see folks doubting the sight settings on here. It makes no sense to try and adjust a handgun sight from a two hand hold. If you don't have a bench to work from, I can understand it, but if you have one available why not use it?
