Brass trimming solution

I have an RCBS Trim Pro or whatever they call it which is fine for a couple hundred shells at a time but if I am going to load thousands like I do for .223, the I use the WFT. I chuck it in a drill press so I have both hands free, the only complaint I have is that you need to remove it every couple hundred shells to shake out the shavings.

It's not cheap by any stretch but this is a solution.

RCBS Trim Pro-2 Power Case Trimmer Kit 110 Volt

BTW, I have the manual version that is 190 dollars less but 100 cases cranking that handle by hand and my arthritic wrist is totally done in for 2 or 3 days. Good news for me is I shoot with a bolt action and a heavy range day is only 30 rounds so I don't have to process a large number of cases at one spell. If I were to get an AR-15 I do believe that I'd have to break loose for the bucks to add that power unit to my trimmer.

Scooter - Take the handle off your RCBS trimmer and take a good close look at the shaft. It's not hard at all to adapt them to an electric drill.

I adapted a dewalt roto zip tool to my rcbs manual trimmer. Replaced the steel cutter head with a carbide because it turns so fast. I control the dealt rotozip with a foot switch so it doesn't turn when I am loading another case. You also have to spray lube inside the case necks because they will over heat if you don't. Works great and is real fast.
