The 1937 guns were shipped with commercial service stocks. Round top walnut, diamond centered with silver medallions.

The post-war guns also had commercial stocks but I'm not sure what style.

Some information on stocks of that era. 1929 was a year of several changes in stocks over a period of 3 months (per SCSW 4th edition, page 493).
-Stock numbers (on backside of right stock) changed back to stamped #s
-Recessed medallions of gold plate over brass on stocks were reinstated but in convex wood stocks on Feb11. Soon after, on March 18, this was changed to flush mounted gold plate medallions. In April, this was changed again.
-Flush mounted, flat chrome plated over brass of 1/2” diameter were ordered on K & N frame stocks and 3/8” on I frame stocks in April.

Pictures of my 1917 Commerial Stocks. It has stamped #s and gold color stocks. Don’t know if they are the rare gold ones mentioned above in use for about two months but could be.

One of mine is pre-war, the other: post. One has the commercial stocks and the other smooth (military?). I forget which has which.
