Never knew David Gates (and Bread) song "Everything I Own" was written to his dad. Always thought it was about a "significant" other. Totally changes the meaning for me.

In a completely different vein. Just heard this on my classical station. I'd forgotten what a superb pianist Earl Wild was. Playing Gershwin in one of Wild's own virtuoso transcriptions.
