Broken 3913 mags

Last week at the range, I found that one of my 3913 mags would only load 7 rounds. I went home after the range, and cleaned all the mags. Then it was 2 of them. Took them apart again and reassembled, now one of them is broken. The little metal plate that the mag spring sits on broke where the spring slides into it. I just sat the spring on there and reassmebled the floor plate. Then the other mag, that had been working fine (I took it apart to make sure I was reassembling the others started doing it), started doing it, so I took it apart and reassmebled, and now it's fine. What is with with these mags? I know I putting them together right. They are clean as a whistle inside, and where can I get that little base plate that the spring sits on?

All the mags are S&W factory.
