anyone have a bronze painted 15-22? the mrs just got a 15-22 for her b-day and i am thinking of doing it.

Hey man. He double-dared you. I don't think you have much choice now.

People here have done rattle can jobs with good results.. then maybe just touching it up as it scratches or wears off.

Personally, if I were going to paint my 15-22, I think I would do a Cerakote instead.

I would see if rustoleum makes it in their textured paint--stuff is impossible to wear off I use it on all my hunting rifles and they by no means get babied

what do you guys think?? it came out awesome! i love it. but the MBUS did scratch up the paint job while sliding on. i will have to touch up.

i added some carbon fiber vinyl from some 'bling' lol

i completely tore down the whole lower. i took out and cleaned the fire control group.
i wanted black accessories (safety switch, mag release, etc)

Not my 1st choice of color, but the black / bronze do contrast nicely, well done.

i thought the same thing when i saw the pics. in person its a lot darker. idk if its the exposure settings or the flash... but it looks a lot more ms13-gold-ak47-ish in pics.
