We don't need the price bashers commenting on this. We're all big boys and girls and make our own decisions on how we spend our money. And yes many of us remember the days of $15/1000 primers. I'm finishing a box of CCI that I paid $24 for.

Ok, Brownell's has Federal Gold Medal small pistol magnum primers available. They are $95/1000 plus hazmat, tax and shipping. There's a limit of 2 boxes of 1000.

Feel free to wait for prices to drop if you feel they will but I suspect we'll be looking back in a couple of years and saying we wish primers would get down to $95 again.

I just wanted to let folks know they're available right now.

If anyone lives close or is traveling close to Grinnell, IA, stop by Brownells retail store. I bought primers from them on two separate occasions last year. Both times the in store price was $6-$8/1000 less than the online price. plus no shipping charges.

Last box I bought retail was $90 and the last three days I've been going to the ranch store and they will sell you 200 at a time for $6 a hundred.
But I suspect the prices of $25-$30 a box of 1000 is far gone and not coming back. So I buy them when I see them and it doesn't matter what type or brand they are.

If it's on your way, that's not TOO bad.

Well if you really need them , I guess 300% or so is not that bad, in todays prices ??

I just hate to have to see people have to pay that price, for them.

Target Sports has small rifle for $599 for 5000. They've been in stock for a couple of weeks now. At those prices, I'm not going to commit to high volume purchases. What I'm doing now is just buying enough to keep up with my shooting. Now is not the time to stock up. At least they're starting to show up again, which is a good sign.
