I want to strip the nickel and underlying non-ferrous metals from a pre-27 frame. I've been reading about Brownells super strip as the way to go and secondly the room temperature stripping solution also sold by Brownells. I can't find any mention of super strip on their website and the room temperature stripper is back ordered. Have they discontinued super strip? Ideas on alternative stripping methods if neither of Brownells are available? I've watched a couple youtube videos of stripping with hydrochloric acid and a battery, but I was hoping for something a little tamer, being my first time.
