Was poking around the Browning website and found some new variations for the 1911-22. This one caught my eye 1911-22 A1 Black Label Laminate, Semi-Auto Rimfire Pistol, Browning Firearms Product (1911-22 A1 Black Label Laminate).

Have the A1 in desert tan, and love it. Though I have the same issue that many others seem to have, the sights. This model has a different set of sights, and I'm curious as to what they are and if it's possible to acquire them.

It looks like the grip safety, hammer, and trigger are different from the other models.

Anyone have an idea of what sights these are?

The look like a novak clone sight. Interesting. Obviously they are more popular then I thought. I know I have shot mine a lot but have never seen another one at the range.

My only complaint is the heavy trigger pull that some day I will try and fix.

The front sight looks staked. The rear is in a dove tail groove. Without measurements we can't tell if there are any after market choices available.

That gun looks beautiful, but it's pricey. I got this one for $320:

I am hoping that Browning will make some of the parts available for purchase. I looked at their parts catalog, and the 1911-22 is not listed.
