First for me. Saw it in the Cabela's flyer-a Sigma with a polished slide.

Wouldn't that be a pain on a sunny day though. I can understand that people like the look though.
 
Not that big a deal unless they were stupid enough to polish the top of the slide.

Personally, I prefer the no nonsense matte finish of the factory standard. If I want a work of art, I'll commission a custom 1911 or an engraved sterling silver plate Colt Single Action Army.

Ditto for me. I like the matte finish on my Sigma slide. I don't need anything shiny on a defensive handgun.
 
I polished the sides of my slide, it's not mirror finish, but almost so, but left the top alone. I like the way it looks now better than the factory "brushed".
