Bucket List.

I had a good weekend. One of the things on my bucket list was to kill a woodchuck with a 100 year old revolver. Almost made it. Nailed a woodchuck with Granny's 22/32 which shipped in 1915. Close enough for government work.

Sunday, the US Navy decided to take their old sailboat out for a spin in Boston Harbor. I decided to sail out and see what I could see.

Not bad for an old guy alone in a 50 year old dinghy with a new camera.

Next weekend probably won't be as exciting, but sailing is still an option, as are woodchucks, as always, unless there is snow on the ground.

Thanks for sharing the pics of what is a national treasure. I used to live in new York and the company I worked for had power plants all over. In 1976 the 200th anniversary they had the Tall ships sail up the east river. Wonderful sight. I wonder how many of the old sailing ships back then are still around?. Frank

Great thought on the bucket list i'll have to make one like that too.

Bucket List;
1st. I want to see whats screaming at me everytime i cook bacon at suppertime for my bacon cheeseburgers in the green mountains in VT at my camp. The screams are so intense it sounds like someone being skinned alive. It follows me down the access road all theway in and all the way out in the daytime. Even at 12am while hiking at night it follows us too. I scan the mountain side with a 24x power scope with my bolt open for safety and nothing is seen. I'm out in the wilds beyong houses and my road is the only way in and out. I won't kill it, i just want to see it just once. I won't share my viddles too. I've seen foot prints larger than my 13" insulated sorrel boots too and it appears to be walking upright in the fresh falling light snow.

I contacted the BFRO's bigfoot researchers and one went up there and told me there are two bigfoot beds that he could see so far.

I built a model of Ol Ironsides when I was about 12. Always wanted to see that old ship. Finally fulfilled the dream a few years back, but she was in the middle of refitting. No upper masts or rigging.

Did get a "special" tour beyond the velvet ropes. Quite a treat.

Nice to see the old girl under sail again.

The only woodchucks endangered around these parts are the ones in my yard.
