Where do you eat lunch? A person can't even smoke in a restaurant around here anymore.

Yesterday I went to my local Chevrolet dealer to buy a new Corvette. I brought cash. Imagine my surprise when the salesman wouldn't take my $3500. That's what they cost in 1953. I'm never going back to that place again. Should I contact the Attorney General's office or the BBB?
Funny how when this happens with the price of gas, State Attorney Generals insvestigate price gouging. But when it is guns, everyone looks the other way.
They are also showing "Out of stock" on certain AR's and AK's, but their front page shows auction after auction of the OOS items that are going through the roof. I have no problem with auctions going sky high. It is what the bidders are willing to pay. I do have a problem when you list something as OOS, but day after day, have them listed in an auction so they can rake in 3 times their worth. I call that lying.
And what would you have done with them? Would you have kept 25 rifles for your personal use? Would you have sold them for the $489 each that you paid for them? Or would you have sold them for a profit? How much profit?
