Thanks for the head's up!!! I just ordered the 3" to go along with my 3" 65, 4" 65, 2" 64, 2" 10, 4" 10 tapered barrel, 4" HB, and my 5" 10. There is something wrong with me, I am still not satisfied! I still have a insatiable need for a 6" model 10, 3" 64, 4" 64 tapered barrel, and a 3" Model 13 to go with my 3" 65! There is definately something wrong with me! I have to stop browsing this forum!!!!!!!!!

P.S.
I forgot I also want the 4" HB RB also!

Scored mine the first time around:

The micro barcode weapon inventory stickers are from Victoria Police Armoury.
The Bud's guns are trade-ins from the Australian police, and because they came back to S&W, there are no import markings.
As the barcodes are part of these guns history, I decided to leave them intact.

I recently got rid of a 1920 rebarreled with a 6 inch barrel pre model 10. I found out that it had some other "modifications" done over the years so it really was a shooter and a mediocre one at that. When my the guy in the LGS told me I should only shoot lead round projectiles only and never FMJ rounds, I got a little worried and took it right back to the guy I bought it from. Besides, with that longer barrel, it just never looked right.

Dern guys - thanks for dinging my bank account again.
Have a motley group of M&P's/M10's, but nothing in a HB. (except for a 3" M65, that barely counts...) Already have a 3" 'pre-10' M&P.

So, thanks to this heads up, I have a 4" HB RB coming. I figured RB's may be just a bit less common than the SB.
What do ya'll think?

Old Corp I agree with you about the RB on the 4" HB, if I had not wanted the 3" so bad I would have bought the RB 4". I'm still thinking about it but I am going to be in so much trouble when COMNAVWIFEPAC finds out I maybe sleeping in the truck!!!!
