Will this ammo hurt my S&W 686 or 66 combat in any way? Never thought about non-lead bullets before but... that is what's available. Thanks.

No. You will be fine to shoot them. I believe all of their Buffalo Barnes line is lead free. Great stuff. I have different types of Buffalo Bore 357 Mag ammunition on hand. If you can’t find affordable great self defense style ammo, I would check gunbroker.com. They always have a good selection. The Remington UMC 357 Mag semi jacketed hollow points normally sell in 100 round value packs for a buck a round or less. That is what I choose to carry. Gunbroker will have it and Remington has even had it in stock lately. Buffalo Bore usually has a lot of stuff in stock also.

And I forgot to mention that I have a Smith & Wesson model 66-8 and a 686-6+ also. You will be fine shooting lead free copper rounds through them.
