Bullhide / Belt King belts

EXERT FROM THEIR EMAIL
“We offer many different max thickness gun belts on bullhidebelts.com but try to keep the marketing of "gun belts" to a minimum as not to offend our customers who do not carry or do not like guns.”

I find Bullhide belts position offensive!

I was getting ready to order a 2nd belt,
when I looked at some recent emails from them to see what their specials were, they set up a new web site Belt King and the comment in quotes was their reason why.

Don’t know about the rest of you but I will not buy from a company that kowtows to the antis.

There is a difference between kowtowing and neutralizing your marketing and advertising. As far as I can tell they are not running away from the gun owners market, they are just not waving it in the face of people who want a heavy duty belt and are not gun people. Sorry Leonard, but I think you are a tiny bit over the top here. (My opinion, for what that may be worth to you.)

Bullhide Belts makes top quality belts from premium materials right here in the good ol' USA, and they sell their products at affordable prices. I've had several of their gun belts over the years, and wouldn't hesitate to buy another or recommend their product to someone else.

I'm sure we'll hear all the "boycott" comments, and the "they'll never get another cent from me" and "they just lost my business" type comments, but in my opinion, this is much ado about nothing.

I am also offended by that statement. In fact I think that we should pass the word to contact this web site and state as Firearms Enthusiasts we are offended by their Anti Gun attitude. Because I am sick and tired of the entire Firearms Community kowtowing to a segment of our population who's single goal in life is to tell others how they should live their lives.

As for those who think this is not worth fussing over I want you to think about this. We have a Constitution and Bill of Rights that were originally set forth by the Founders of this Nation. A Constitution that has proven to be effective at keeping this Nation and Populace Free and Prosperous for well over 200 years. Now we have a Media and Political Party that desires to rescind many facets of our Constitution and shove every single person into the same mold.

The time has come to stand up and Say NO loudly and clearly to anyone showing any leanings towards removing our Rights even if all they are doing is for a bit more Coin in their pockets. Vendors need to be told, you are either with us or against us and there Is NOT Any Middle Ground.

I guess my Constitution and Bill of Rights knowledge is a little rusty. Which section deals with selling gun belts?

Isn't there a difference between being "anti-gun" where they would be actively pushing to eliminate 2A rights versus just reducing their pro 2A profile in particular markets?

Email them and say something like i want a gun belt but I see you don't sell them. Too bad bye bye.

As far as their marketing strategy goes, they could add a short statement that would be inclusive to "anyone" wanting a quality, heavy duty belt, as apposed to one marginalizing those wanting "gun belts." JM2CW

It’s their business. I’ve never bothered with a dedicated “gun belt” in three decades and still use the leather Dickies one I bought at Quantico, but if I need another I will certainly consider them. Take a breath, not everything is a crisis.
