Is there any way to extend the length of the telescoping butt stock? I am guessing the only way would be to get an after market stock, or are they all the same length?

Dude... just wait until you have your rifle in hand. I'm not sure what you are even asking here... Are you wanting to extend the stock further out than the one that comes on the gun? If so, why? How do you know that it doesn't extend far enough for you already? And by the way, if you are going to use the peep sights the rifle comes with, you want your eye up close to the rear sight, not way back with the stock fully extended.

An A1 stock is right around 10", the A2 10 5/8" long. A 6 position M4 stock fully extended is around 11". I'm 6-3 and find an A2 stock hard to get behind shooting offhand. It's required on my match gun, so I work with it. When I'm shooting my carbine, the stock is never fully extended. I've read that the Magpul UBR is 11.3".

Most people want to know how to shorten a fixed stock, not lengthen it.

If you really must extend it, you can get rubber butt pads that will fit on the collapsible stock of an AR15. Academy used to sell them in the AR accessories. Something like this: rubber but pad for ar15 - MidwayUSA.
