Grip Screw Lengths

Missing a few grip screws for ophaned stocks I rescued. Curious if all grip screws are the same length across frame sizes and stock type or if theres different length for each frame size. I assume the screw is the same length for each individual frame size regardless of stock type, or at least I hope they are.
The screw I have measures 1.2" overall length with 1.08" not including the head. I believe this to be for a N frame.

Are there different length grip screws or am I making a fuss out of a non issue and any S&W grip screw will work for any frame size and stock type?

There are different lengths - as I recall, there were three. Someone else will be along with the details.

There are different lengths depending on stock style more than frame size. The variance from shortest to longest is ca. 1/4" with about 1/8" steps resulting in 3-4 different lengths. Basically the differences are for magna square, magna round, and target stocks. The grip frames are all ca. the same width/thickness among all frame sizes. All are 5x44 thread.

This applies to all stocks made by S&W in the Stock Job as they call it. Stocks from after-market and factory sub-contractors such as Badger, Uncle Mikes, Pachmayr, etc. are all a completely different matter
