Buy Stamps

I don't use many these days even at the office. Years ago we had a postal machine we sent out so much mail. These days we send very little and don't have any use for a machine or even many stamps. Even fax machines are about done as email has taken over. We even send forms for signatures email for electronic signatures these days. When I need to ship a box I just go to the post office most times and have the clerk ring it up and ship it.

Went to the post office today & the postmaster told me the price is going up the 29th. Bought 2 books of stamps. That ought to last me 4 or 5 months

I may be in the minority but i think $ .58 to take my correspondence anywhere in the USA seems like a good price to me. might buy a book of stamps every other month. when i think about it and the enormous amount of hauling and handling that is involved for every piece of mail that they bring to your home or at least to your local POBox for,$0.58. i'm thinking that a lot going on for .58 cents.

i'm 63 years old and all that time only had a problem with one package that was sent to me.

It's a very good deal.
But it can add up.

On a related note our local post office is hiring they have signs up in the yard and I just got a flyer in the mail today. My local carrier is very happy to work there And recommends it.
She just showed up at my residence in a brand new Mercedes mail truck. It has been stripped of all badges other than the emblems on the hubcaps which are black on black, and the steering wheel.
I don't think the post office wants us to know what they are. We have a small post office and she said they only got two so far. They are air-conditioned for a change.

when i worked, the company covered my postage for shipping....i bought lots of stamps....now, i just pay at the window and keep a few around for letters.

Thanks for the heads up. Bought stamps yesterday at Sam's. Wife said we were out. I said they are going up in price next week. Ms cheapness bought the hundred roll

I ordered a bunch from the USPS site yesterday. I buy so many in a year that the Postal Service has me pegged as a collector and send me catalogs.

Unlike many of you, I go through at least a book (20) every month because I do very few automatic payments. All my not-dropped-in-the-offering-plate charitable contributions, credit card payments, and most utilities are paid by check and mailed every month.

I will admit I was a little upset that the Bugs Bunny stamps were already gone. I bought several sheets earlier this year, but they're no longer available.
