The wife wants to get some beeswax to start making candles, and since it is way too cold for beekeepers up here, I have to shop around for some beeswax, and since it would probably make a bullet lube for muzzleloaders, I figure it would work well there too.

Where do you get the little tiny Q-Tips to get the stuff out of their ears, and how do you get them to hold still for the procedure? ;)

Bullseye
That's funny,
Q-Tips?I don't know about. But smoke seems to calm them down a bit.Maybe some of that mountain grown stuff the locals smoke and grow might work.At least if you get stung you wont care so much.:D:D:D

It's also great for telling people to mind their own business.

Go to your local builder's supply & check out "toilet seal ring".

WAH - - LAH! bees wax, also used to flux molten lead while casting.

I get my bee's wax from a bee keeper who frequents one of the local small town gun shows, I highly suggest you find a bee keeper somewhere, the pre-packaged stuff in the craft stores is way over priced. There is sure to be a bee keeper forum on the net somewhere where you could find a beekeeper who will ship you some wax at a much better price than buying it retail.
