I was wondering if this would be legal to do. I was in the same boat as most people are w/ the ammo shortage until today. I bought 5 boxes of Feds 525 for $21 each w/ tax... They had at least another 50 there. So, if I bought X amounts and ship it to them, would that be a problem? I live in St. Louis, MO and I know the flat landers (just poking fun) need a FOID (?) card to buy anything firearm related, so I wouldn't want to ship unless they would pick up locally.

If it's not an issue, I'll want $3 per box for my time driving there plus the shipping and I'll head down there first thing in the morning. Sound fair? Let me know.

Thanks

Personally, I wouldn't go there. Let them get their own. And, if you're talking about shipping it yourself, double my opinion.

I'd buy a couple boxes if you can do this. Can they be shipped to my house?

They have to go via a commercial shipper like UPS or FedEx, and has to be declared as ammunition when sent. A sticker that says "ORM-D" will go on the outside.

From what I found, all I need to do is write "ORM-D outlined in a rectangle or print a sticker. So far, I'd have 6 spoken for. I'd like to go for 10 to make it worth it, but if not, I have friends who will take them off my hands.

To the guys wanting a couple boxes each: PM me your info and I'll get back w/ you tomorrow sometime w/ payment and shipping cost. Here's what you'll be getting.

I'd take a couple of boxes. I have less than half a box and a new scope that hasn't been played with yet. I'm dying here haha

I would be very careful about buying and reselling ammo, especially if shipping across state lines. This could well put you in the position of being an unlicensed retailer if you do it more than once or in a large quantity.

I know a year or so ago, I decided to sell a case of Wolf Match Target 22LR. I got such a run around from UPS, I decided it just wasn't worth it. I put it up on a shooting site in the NW and a guy drove 150 miles to get it FTF. I also heard it kind of depends on your local UPS as far as hassel.

After a long talk w/ my friend (attorney) this morning, he advised against this, due to the liability and potential risk, as did others in his firm. The intentions are there, but the unknown isn't. I'm sorry to give up on your hopes during this ammo shortage.

The store is Dunns Sporting goods in Pevely, MO.

Thanks.

I think you made a wise choice.

I just sold my FAL and am selling of the ammo. I just go to UPS MAIN HUB, the UPS stores are franchises and not all of them want to or know that they can ship ammo. Anyway, i wrote ORMD and the box, gave it to the lady and done. Took 2 minutes

Thanks for trying!

There is a place in Southern Ky (Glasgow Ky) that has a lot of 22lr ammo if anyone lives close and needs any

That is nowhere the same as buying ammo with the intention of reselling it across state lines. :)

Then how do people sell ammo on gunbroker? I've got guns and ammo both delivered by USPS
