You want a beavertail grip I guess.
I wonder how the grip parts are held together.

Read the reviews,
"There is one draw back, the grip needs to be dremeled a little bit to fit my AR15 better. It's where the grip's heel spur is."

Seems to be somewhat common issue with beavertail grips.

"The only half complaint I have, if any, is you cant change the grips on the fly. It takes a little time and a center punch to pop the inserts out to change them if you let someone else shoot your rifle."

I was unaware it would need modifying. I have held an AR with one at my local shop. Really liked the feel. Guess I need to look at out again, and read a few more reviews.

When I was looking at grips at amazon.com the customer reviews for the beavertail grips they have usually had some people say the fit of the beavertail curve didnt match their ar15's.

Seems that some ar's curve in that area is a little different than others
so sometimes one mfg's grip will fit well on one brand ar15 and not on another.

I have one on all three of my ARs. I wouldn't use anything else. The front and back straps are rubbery for better grip.

Must just be me, I like the stock GI grip.
I'm goin to order a tan one to match though.
