According to sale paper, it starts today. $349 is the price point I figure S&W was targeting. Run out and buy 3 or 4 so I can buy them from you in 6 mos. for $275. Does this gun have a hammer?
Yes and a very heavy one at that. A true DA only. They wanted to copy Taurus and have a a "second strike" capability.
I know most will disagree with my opinion. I like DAO in an auto. The traditional DA auto is too easy for me to send the second shot off who knows where. At 64 I'm a little shaky under stress. Butt, if "necessary" I will pull that 12 lb. trigger until the gun is empty as fast as my fat fingers will allow.
.I agree with you. For a pocket gun especially. Just letting ya know.
As much as I like Sigs and have several I think the P238 is a dumb design. No way I am putting a cocked and locked with no grip safety in my pocket.
I prefer the Colt Pony Pocketlite over the Mustang
.
I bought a stainless (steel) Pony when they hit the mkt. I believe it was Scott Mcdougal? that did upgrades on them. I was going to do a deal with him, but I traded the gun. Do the P238's have the same goofy ejector as the Mustangs?
