Ordered the Federal 22lr bulk they had on Monday night and I got it today. Meanwhile I'm still waiting for backordered ammo from Brownell's that I ordered a few weeks ago.

I have 5k from Cabelas backordered since 12/24 and delayed until end of Feb. Apparently, if it comes in a metal ammo can, or no ammo can they can get it out, but if it comes in a dry box, they need 2+ months to ship it.

Funny I've had 7k rounds of Federal 40 gr HV delivered this week from Cabelas, ordered it last week when it showed up online one morning no limit etc. If you are impatient order what they have, if not wait for your backorder, they will ship it when it comes in.

I think part of the issue is Mfgs are shipping different items i.e. not the same bulk packs etc. trying to rush to market, probably a pricing issue as well. If what they receive is not a match for your backorder they won't send it to you.

But you didn't order it in a can, you ordered separate boxes. Each item is different as far as the manufacturer and Cabela's is concerned.

If he ordered the same thing as me, he did order a "can" of ammo. With this item number, qty. 1 was equal to 4 boxes of CCI tactical with a dry box. As far as Cabela's was selling it...

I just received notification today that this is shipping out to me. Of course I ordered a while back on 12/31. Good news though that this is coming back into stock.
