Loves me some cake or pies! About the only kind of cake I won't eat is fruit cake on angelfood. I've got a recipe for a Bailey's Irish Creme cake that sounds really good, just haven't got around to it.

Good ol' Apple Pie, Strawberry Short cake, NY Cheesecake, Blueberry Pie, Babka, Hmmmmmm I don't even know myself! I love 'em all!!!!
Good home made chocolate cake is a gift, and those who make it are gods. Apple pie, lemon mereinge pie, coconut pie, chocolate cream pie, banana cream pie, peanut butter pie, I love them all. Don't forget fried pies, apple, peach, blueberry, blackberry, lemon, apricot, and strawberry. I can't stop!

Boston Cream Pie confuses me. It claims to be a pie, but it's actually a cake. Even though it is better than pie, I feel vaguely cheated when I order it, like it's a cake operating under false pretense or something.

I like most cakes and pies except coconut and especially anything with pineapples, and Fruit cakes, now a good alternative to fruit cake is a Stollen, has the fruit but you don't have to worry about dropping it on you foot.

PIE, followed by more PIE with Ice Cream. In a pinch Lemon Cream Cake with ice cream. Both pie and cake is better with hot fresh coffee. There much be a J frame model 60 on the table.

Pie for me, usually pecan. Nothing much beats a slice of hot peach pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Cake is good too, so long as it's not too dry. Apple Sauce cake is really good. Also like Boston cream pie.

Cake or Pie? Lemon Cheese cake w/ that wonderful icing made w/ real lemons! Follow with a main course of Devils' Food Cake w/ icing like my Mama made! For desert, the all time favorite... Chocolate Cake w/ (of course you know what's coming!!!) lots of that homemade chocolate icing. Of course all icing for these three cakes must be homemade. The excess of each bowling of icing not used on the various cakes is used on homemade tea cakes... wonderful stuff!
