After a lot of prepping, taping, dismantling and practicing on plywood- the finished product. I used a FDE basecoat and flat brown overspray, then sealed with flat clear. The foliage pattern is from needles, leaves and shrubbery around our place.
It was scary to start, but fun once it started coming together as well as it did. I am leaving the receiver as-is, being the working area of the gun and the fact that this is a deer rifle, not an insurgent repellant. For any Leupold fans, note the taped off gold ring
