Digital Camo paint job. Two tone

Yea it feels really good on the hands. It has interchangeable pieces that come with it to really fit your hand.

I like it. Hold your head high good Sir! Great job!

Start you post with ' Hells to the yeah, you fools only wish ...'
NOT. "To each his own"... The equates to , 'This may suck but,"

This IS the interwebs. There will be haters, BUT..
The members you posted those pictures for. We can spot those boobs a mile away. Good job

reminds me of some old camo from the USSR .?

Lol, I only start conversations like that when I am ready to race a long awaited grudge match at the drag strip haha.

Just wrote the small tutorial. Fiancee is rushing me off the laptop so didn't proof read the best I could. Will make small changes here and there for grammar checks haha.

the more i look at your paint job the more i like it.i have to ask,why did you bake it and doesnt it affect the polymer parts?i can see the metal stuff handling the temp but i would think the polymer wouldnt like the baking.do you have to bake it?i dont think my lady would be happy with me if i made the house smell like a paint shop.

You don't have to bake it. Baking it just makes the paint nice and hard. It didn't effect my parts at all. You can bake it at a lower temperature to be on the safe side. Or just don't bake at all :).

Yea my girl didn't like the idea of it at all. I was just told to clean oven when I'm done and not to do it when she is around. It didn't smell to bad, just depends on how long you let the paint dry/air out before you bake it. Thats why having an oven in garage, or opening a window helped big time.

I'm sure if you are unsure with the baking tempature you could always let it cool real quick and reinstall the upper/lower or parts together to make sure they stay their same specification

Yea, I know a couple of guys on here just let their parts air dry for like 8 days. Thank you.

going to bump this for the new(er) members that are thinking digital paint job.

Thanks. I sold this rifle last month because I didnt have a job and needed money. 1 day later I got a job offer (my present workplace)..sucks..but I want to own another one. I miss my 15-22 very much.

Plan on painting savage mark II eventually in digi camo.

Your layers look a little thick? But otherwise a fantastic job. Are you going to hit it with a matte layer?

What also works good is heating the rifle before painting, ether with the oven or just leaving it out in the sun for a while.

Layer were not thick at all. Yes rifle had matte clear coat on it

OK, just asking. The base coat on the lower seemed to be rather shiny. And a light coat shouldn't take all day to dry.
