I have what I think is a WWII era name patch that I'm looking for help in translation.

Just wondered if any of the members here could help.

Thanks!

What did it come from? May be US name tape that Chinese can/ could understand. The US Chinese language school patch was " Nuf Sed", and is a quite Rare patch as in SSI type patches.

Chief38.. thanks!

Interesting translation.. horse division could mean Cavalry.

It has an Anglo type name on the front, LAKE.. maybe an advisor for the Chinese. It does have a similar look to other Chinese badges but usually they have triangles on them showing ranks..

Let me do some more reading and see what I can find…

Thanks so much for the translation.

old chinese badge - possible translation

for all it's worth, I gave it a try also and came up with the following:
- when looking at all symbols my search came out as:
dragon division tiger group horse
- when looking at each symbol it read:
dragon division tiger group horse transport
I wonder if any of this makes sense? from Switzerland, Hans J

Thanks HansJ

I think the words are correct but still don't know who used the patch.

Horse transport could be similar to our Cavalry…?
