Can this 3913 be saved?

Quick and dirty, get set of Hogue's use the block and set the pin into what's left of the holes and JB weld the pin in place. The Hogue block will still pivot, grips will be removable and it may cost $5 bucks for the JB weld.
If JB can be tapped and threaded it should hold.
 
Band saw, Dremel, silver solder, stainsteel screws, block of aluminum. I'd remove the broken off pieces and start forming the block of aluminum and include the pin holes in that. Sounds like a fun project. Yeah I bubba but I bet It'd work and look fine with grips installed.
 
On a guess, a problem with main spring wear. Or maybe main spring and recoil spring wear.

Maybe Fastbolt, BMCM, JohnHL or some of the others who know these guns well will comment.

You know whats funny, is that frame linked/pictured is broken in the same spot as mine, just left side though.
