Domino's has a special on take out. If I buy extra and freeze it, will it still be good in a few weeks?

Pizza is easy to make from scratch and much better than anything you can buy already prepared. As for freezing, you can make the dough ahead of time (2 cups flour per 16" pizza), roll it in a ball, and freeze it in a ziploc baggie. I do four pizzas at a time. All you have to do is thaw the dough, roll it out, add toppings and bake. You won't go back to store bought pizza.

Would not "freeing pizza" require left over pizza?

Yes, I think that's how this started out. Maybe not just leftover, but a whole cooked pizza as well. I got things a bit off track mentioning "from scratch" pizza and freezing uncooked pizza dough.

Gonna have to agree with the person above that recommended home made pizza. It's way easier to do than you imagine, just 4 simple ingredients for the crust. Suggest using 'quick rise' or 'bread machine' yeast for extra ease, but regular yeast is simple to master. And yes, either the cooked pie, raw pie, or just the dough for the crust can easily be frozen. NEVER microwave pizza to reheat, unless you like it soggy. Oven, cast iron on the stovetop, or a few slices at a time in the air fryer is the way to go to re-heat. :D

Freeze pizza??, heck yeah, wife does it all the time. usually when the kids come over *kids and their husbands and one grandson) we usually end up with 6-8 large pizzas. What does not get eaten gets frozen. Frank

Sure....keep it in a zip-lock bag. We re-heat ours in the oven or in a skillet on the stove instead of the microwave. Warms the toppings, and makes the crust crispy again.

armorer951 forgot to mention not to tinker with the strain screw. Just add a drop of marinara sauce on the threads before tightening it down. :D

6-8 large pizzas at one time !!?? That's called not dying and going to heaven! BTW, for valley locals, finally found a good pizza stand at Boulder Station. Reasonable too. It's their own people, not an outside vendor.

P.S. Does anyone agree with me that warmed-over pizza tastes better than freshly-made? Inquiring minds want to know.
