It appears to be a six-shot .32 caliber top break of a style similar to a Smith & Wesson Double Action small frame revolver of the late 19th and early 20th century, but these were all five-shot models. Also, if the stocks are original they are definitely from another brand; someone here will probably be able to ID them.

In general guns of this type and era, even in exceptional condition, are in the $200-250 range at best. Hope this is helpful.

definetly

the info is great with my limited evidence. It is a posted add from a guy whose Grandfather left it to him. He never shot it and know nothing about it. But he did say it is a S&W. I have a friend looking for a $200.00 revolver. I think this may be as close as he will get.

It is likely a 32 S&W Long caliber and it is a Forehand Arms top break revolver. They have a V-type hammer-trigger spring and a small button-tab part that holds the cylinder on the quill. These parts tend to wear out or break and are very difficult to repair or finds replacement parts.
Forhand and Wadsworth Company became Forhands Arms and then Hopkins and Allen.

You guys are great. Thanks for the info and you appear to be 100% correct. Once I saw it in person your info was right on.
I don't know if you guys know how impressive the info is you give and how fast you can get an answer. I am new to all this so the more I learn the better I become. Thanks again.
