Just got about a dozen of these 45 Ball Ammo Lot 1 FNB 65 from a friend. Can anyone tell me a little about it? Thanks for any help. This category is far from my specialty.

Stamped "OXYLESS" over what I now see is the FN logo (now that you told me) and NON MERCURY. Friend tried a few and said they worked great. Brass was flying about 10 feet.

So just enjoy and shoot or is there some sort of collectibility and I shouldn't waste them? Thanks again.

While there is some collector interest in older military rounds my experience has been that most won't bring much of a premium. Black powder era and WWI era rounds, rare cartridges, Japanese or German stuff do seem to have a good collector interest. More common stuff (such as 45ACP, 30-06, etc.) especially when it's post-WWII just doesn't get a lot of interest. The few guys I've known who collect the later stuff usually only want single rounds (they collect by head stamp) and aren't real interested in boxes other than for the label info.

Ammo from the 50's and later I usually just consider to be shooting ammo though I might stash a box or two for my own collecting interest (especially if the boxes are in nice shape).
