Can't decide between a model 60 2-1/8' barrel and a model 640 for CCW. Would appreciate any opinions.

If it were I, the Model 60 would win hands down. Nice couple of 60's on Gunbroker as I type. I'm very partial to an exposed hammer.

I second this.

Carry guns are tools. Since this is to be a carry gun, choose the right tool for the job.

I carried this model 60 that I had a snub hammer on for 30 years. It got stolen along with my truck! I replaced it with a old model 40. I liked both and just pocket carry when I do.
