Just bought a S&W .500 Mag. 5 1/2" barrel to go with the 10 1/2" custom shop .500 Mag. and the 8 1/2" .460 Mag.
The 5 1/2 set me back $1,081.50 + extortion =
{(tax) to support the drug addicts, welfare bums & their illegitimate kids, crooked politicians, and asunder other bottom feeders.}
I really like the 6 1/2 barreled .500, feels much better in the hand than either of the other 2 X frames. All ammunition I shoot in any of the 50 or 60 handguns, except the rim fire of course, are reloads and the vast majority of that is home cast bullets loaded to moderate pressures / velocities. MUCH more pleasant to shoot. Don't know when I will get to shoot it, really cold in Kansas City area right now.
Also the following S&W's in the safes:
2/617's, Mod. 10, 66, Mod. 28, 2 Mod. 625's, and 2 Mod. 629's.
If I could figure out how to post a full size photo I would take a S&W family photo and post it.
