It took me a while to find where to post this - came in, said, good idea to post intro, which I think is only polite. I am not new to forums but this type of forum has always perplexed me. I suppose if I am too dumb to post, I'm too dumb to own a firearm.
I am not big on telling anyone what I own when it comes to ordinance. Call me paranoid but it is something I hesitate to do.
Since I'm on this forum I suppose y'all expect me to be a gun owner. You'd be right. The revolver that fits in here is a .41 - I like the darn thing but I need some better grips. If my hands were bigger that would not be such an issue. So I'd like suggestion regarding grips.
I need to stock up on ammo. While the .41 may not be a great conceal or urban assault weapon, it does have significant stopping power. I feel I can defend a doorway with it.
The no politics/religion (and everything that goes with these basic two topics) makes sense. It is rather hard to be on gun forum and not let a slip happen from time to time, but, I'll be as good as I can be.
There it is - old guy, has gun interest, opinionated, dad retired in the 70's from the San Diego Police Department and was an MP in WWII. You can probably guess a lot from that info ... mostly you'll be right - as I lean.
