Carry at Third Generation Pistol

Many times a 3913 series will fit perfectly into a Sig 239 holster...

Once upon a time I purchased a 6904 from a member here but never carried it. I don't have any good reason other than I do not prefer 9mm.

For a few years I was carrying my Frankengun 4506 (lower) with a 4516 (upper). Technically that makes a 4596. I prefer .45 ACP and this combination gave me a 8+1 configuration. I still own it and it is probably the best-shooting .45 3rd Gen I own, although I no longer carry it.

For the past few years I have gone over to the CS45. I own two - a stainless CS45D and a blued CS45 - again both purchased from forum members. I have wood grips on both, which make them the most comfortable .45 CCW pistols to conceal that I own. Stock they are 6+1 and I could use a higher capacity magazine but I don't really feel the need. They also conceal VERY well, even for a larger guy like me.

I carry my 6946 in a Bang Bang Gun Leather IWB holster, so comfortable that I almost don't know that it's there.

It's been a while. I had a 6906 that I carried frequently, then I broke a firing pin spring on it and had to look all over to find a replacement spring.

My 4006 gets range time but not much holster time.

Daily carry is my 6906. My Glock 19 and 26 printed too much and I have some hand injuries that hinder my grip on my single stack Glock 43. I had the same problem with my 3953. The 6906 is the perfect fit for me. It's accurate with 13 rnds on board and it's been very reliable with defensive ammunition.

For the two months of the year where it is cool enough to wear a cover garment, I carry a 4506 in a Don Hume JIT on a Wilderness Instructor belt.
