CARRYING MY K FRAME

Excellent examples and photos Red. After asking my question regarding the orientation of the basketweave pattern, I had a look at my copy of Packing Iron and found a couple of examples of H.H. Heisers, one a No. 122 from the 1900-1910 time period and a No. 512 from the 1925-35 that have vertical stamping. They are very attractive with that layout.

usmc2427765 I joined this S&W Forum about 6 years ago. Like you, I
had some holsters and wanted to post pictures, but didn't know how.
So I posted a HELP WANTED message here on the gun leather forum.
ISCSYoda sent me an e-mail with specific instructions. snubbyfan sent
a picture of his camera, a Samsung WB35F from Walmart for under $100.
I read the instructions and went to Walmart and bought the camera.
Within a couple of days I was posting pictures. That was just 4 years
ago. I just looked, and all you good folks have "liked" my posts over
16,000 times. turnerriver said "is this a great forum or what?" I agree.

it and I think you will too.

Here is another of my K frame holsters, this one for a Combat Masterpiece. The only marking on the rear is the stamp MEXICO but it does not appear to be a Viking. It is very nicely made and stitched, the lining is smooth leather. I forget where I got it, but I have had it for probably 15 years or so.

That basket weave and laced Colorado Saddlery holster with your
Combat Masterpiece is stunningly gorgeous John.
poorphil has the plain jane rendition of what appears to be the
same Colorado Saddlery model. Shown with my model 10 4".
I put a 3 pc. buckle set on the famous $30 belt to jazz it up a
bit.

John that Colorado Saddlery holster is the only Colorado Saddlery
holster I have found, so far, that has the snap on the loop. Most
of them have the rivets in back holding the loop on.

Beautiful revolvers, knives, hats, and especially gun leather. Makes me think of the far distant past, when I looked at the Sears catalog and drooled over the stuff for men and boys.

Have a blessed day,

Leon
